Between ocean and salt marshes

Located at the foot of the ramparts of Guérande and surrounded on one side by the ocean and on the other by the salt marshes, Batz-sur-Mer with its four villages extends on a surface of 927 hectares. Formerly called the island of Batz, synonymous with isolation, Batz-sur-Mer has developed and has become a charming town, with a rich heritage.
