My advice :
> walk around the Green Cut tracks, in all seasons, to discover a very rich and diversified fauna and flora. I feel immersed in the countryside, just near the Ocean... During the hikes that we organise in the Tourist Office, a part of the tour goas though the green cut !
> meet the "paludiers", salt-maker, to know how they work, their working environment, the secret of the salt harvest.
> strolling the Tuesday's evenings in the night market to discover the creations of locals artisans and just be in this warm, musical and festive environment !
> The view from the top of The Saint Guénolé tower
My top 3 visits and animations:
> tales with Jacqu'otte for scary stories sometimes, in a magical environment...
> the windmill visit with the miller guide who knows how to transmit his knowledge with passion. The little extra : go to the mill during the Heritage Days in May, June and september!
> the introduction to walk fishing, in any weather, summer or winter, enough to get iodized air.
Constance JAMET, director
Arrived in Mars 2017.
> take pictures of little egrets, herons or avocets in salt marshes
> strolling in the salt marshes when the sunlight is reflected in the eyelets
> walk along the coastal path, stop in the wild coves
> the two museum of Batz-sur-Mer (Le Grand Blockaus and the Salt Marshes Museum), a cutlral wealth !
My top 3 :
> the guided night tour, the unusualm visits and the gourmet tours, to (re)discover Batz-sur-Mer.
> the nights markets to discover locals artisans and artists from everywhere
> Halloween : a scary program, renewed every year !
