Eco-responsible events organised by the Tourist Office:

- World Clean Up Day:
Every year the Tourist Office team takes part in World Clean Up Day.
This global litter-picking day takes place in September and aims to combat pollution.

- Don't touch my spot!
Batz-sur-Mer Tourist Office took part in the 2022 edition of Touche pas à mon spot ! An event organised by Loire Atlantique Developpement and the Surf Rider association.
It's a day that combines water sports and environmental awareness, with introductions to water sports and waste collection.
A few figures for this year's event :
1 team training for Frédéric Taillandier's Atlantic crossing, from Port St Michel to Pornichet
2 events organised by Fanny Minute Papillon: raising awareness of the waste cycle and land art on the beach
3 activities organised by the Mersea surf school: introduction to surfing, introduction to stand-up paddling and a stand to raise awareness of the eco-friendly materials used in wetsuits.
3.75 kgs of rubbish collected on all the beaches of Batz-sur-Mer

A municipal by-law is currently in force for a section of the coastal path in the Baie de Manérick area (pdf below).
