The route of the Vélocéan crosses the town of Batz-sur-Mer in its center. This is the ideal opportunity for cycling tourists to discover our small city of character.
In addition, throughout the municipality, portions of bike paths or lanes allow more secure circulation for cyclists.

Located less than 5 kilometers from a bike route, the Tourist Office:
Has a water point and sanitary facilities nearby
Has bike parking spots nearby
Has a repair and inflation station available 24/7
Provides you with a foot pump to inflate your bike, as well as a charging station to recharge your equipment (VAE battery, GPS, phone...)
Displays the daily weather and emergency numbers
Sells a repair kit for minor damage (anti-puncture material, standard key set, lubricant...)

Coming to Batz-sur-Mer by bike:
From Nantes:
Follow the Vélidéale or Vélodyssée routes to Saint-Nazaire then follow the Vélocéan route to La Baule, then towards Le Croisic.
On board a TER towards Le Croisic, get off at the Batz-sur-Mer railway stop, then go up the street from the station towards the town. From 1 May to 28 September 2025, remember to reserve a spot for your bike on the SNCF Pays de la Loire website: Reservation bike spot on board | SNCF TER Pays de la Loire Aléop
From Le Croisic: join the D245 towards La Baule
Since the Pouliguen:
By the D245: towards Le Croisic
By the coast road: follow the bike path of the wild coast of Pouliguen then continue towards Avenue Moreau which will allow you to join the Vélocéan and continue towards Batz-sur-Mer.
By La Vélocéan:
From Saint-Nazaire: follow the Saint-Nazaire/La Baule route towards La Baule, then continue on the Pornichet/Guérande route, then on the La Baule/Le Croisic route.
From Guérande: follow the Guérande/Pornichet route to La Baule, then continue on the La Baule/Le Croisic route.
From Pénestin: follow the route Pénestin/Saint-Molf, then the route Saint-Molf/Guérande, then Guérande/Pornichet to La Baule, then continue on the route La Baule/Le Croisic.
