As part of the 19th "Tour des Villages", the Regional Theatre of Pays de la Loire presents "Les midinettes" by Jacques Hadjaje.
Today, in the center of France, the "Marilou" factory, one of the flagships of women’s underwear manufacturing, closes its doors. Its two hundred workers - these seamstresses, formerly called "midinettes" - are brutally fired. Well resolved to fight to defend their work and dignity, they decide to occupy the factory.
"Les midinettes" tells this epic of twenty-seven days, made of laughter and cries of anger, disappointments and flashes of hope. They tell of a struggle for life.
Staging: Camille de La Guillonnière.
Ticket office on site: 5€, 10€ or 15€ per seat, price at the choice of the spectators.
