The true heart of the seaside resort, La Baule Beach sets the rhythm of local life in every season. At the centre of a 9 km bay of fine sand, it offers an exceptional playground on a remarkable scale. Sandcastles, swimming, relaxation… everyone can enjoy it in their own way.
Families will find plenty of beach clubs for children, while watersports enthusiasts can enjoy a wide range of activities such as sailing, paddleboarding and even land yachting in winter. A cycle path also runs all along the bay, making it easy to take in the charm of this vast stretch of sand that has made La Baule so well known.
Supervised beach from July to August. Lifeguard surveillance is provided by CRS lifeguards and civilian reinforcements at the Benoît, Concorde, De Gaulle, Saumur, Mazy and Avenue de la Plage rescue stations.
