Since 2016, 'Jazz et Patrimoine' has been organized by the three Petites Cités de Caractère ® of Loire-Atlantique: on Friday in Piriac-sur-Mer, on Saturday in Batz-sur-Mer, and on Sunday at Le Croisic.

During this visit, you will (re)discover the town through the eyes of the artists who have crossed it, painters, writers, sculptors...
Their works are imbued with landscapes and local heritage and we will go to meet them. For this special visit: a spotlight will be placed on Jean Fréour, sculptor and emblematic figure of Batz-sur-Mer, whose property, now open to the public, hosts this year the new edition of Jazz et Patrimoine in the heart of its pleasant park.
«Reading the landscape from the Saint-Guénolé Tower»

Take advantage of this event to gain height, with a unique viewpoint at 360° at the top of the tower of the Saint-Guénolé church, climbing the 184 steps. The tour guide Fanny Chaigneau will be waiting for you at the top of the Saint-Guénolé Tower for a landscape reading.

INITIATION DANCE LINDY HOP

Lindy Hop is a street dance that developed in the Harlem district (New York) towards the end of the 1920s, alongside jazz and more particularly swing. This very joyful and lively dance is the ancestor of rock. Come learn the basic steps to warm up before the concert!
