WINDOW MURAL FROM THE MUNICIPAL MEDIA LIBRARY
Your feet will take you where your heart is
After Nelly Garreau in 2023, Nina Faustine in 2024 and Jérôme Capso illustration in 2025, the municipal media library entrusted the creation of its traditional fresco drawn on its window to the visual artist muralist from Rennes «Roud».
The artist Olivier Roudaut, and Elise, a bachelor’s student in fine arts, have installed the windows of the municipal media library of hashtag#batzsurmer for a fresco created with white posca, all in light and transparency.
Its creation takes up the great symbols and heritage sites of the Petite Cité de Caractère: the beach cabins of the port Saint-Michel, the church and the tower Saint-Guénolé, the salt marshes... A work with art deco influences and Breton culture, for a tribute to the Seiz Breur movement and Batz-sur-Mer, its heritage, its salt farming culture and its preserved natural environment.

ROUD
Olivier Roudaut, muralist artist and illustrator from Rennes offers a singular universe, colorful, offbeat and graphic. Attracted by street art culture since his childhood, he later developed his style through his experiences, encounters and studies in the field of art.
