Three local artists will present their works, which navigate between the abstract, the figurative and the impressionism, in seasonal colors and where often hide well-known landscapes of the peninsula, between ocean and salt marshes.
Nanou Fiasella projects her emotions by playing with the vibrations of light, from the supports of the wall to acrylic mixtures and unusual materials. The pastel work allows him to dare the figurative with capricious forms, shimmering colors and silky texture. The colours gradually invade the pictorial space. They invent a path inspired by collages and material inputs. Some textures immediately please each other, blend into each other, others are fused to the four corners of the web to oppose more, like power and fragility.
Xavier Camus, figurative and impressionist painter, is imbued with the color palettes he brought back from his travels. His painting is bright and tonic, with a very pronounced taste for Orientalism and the sea, his two favorite subjects. From an old rig to a caravel, from a sailboat to a shipwreck, he takes us from a precise place to an imaginary world.
Marie-Andrée Barrier: some of her paintings flirt with the abstract but do not completely detach themselves from the figurative. The work of oil or acrylic, most often with a knife, is executed quickly with a first color jet then the painting takes shape and the colors mix. A painting that can range from a representation of a specific place, to an imaginary world.
