Exhibition : Francine Caron

In 2019, the town of Batz-sur-Mer inaugurated its media library under the name of Francine Caron, a poet born in the village of Kervalet in September 1945. The association Les Amis de La Gède is organising a retrospective entitled ‘Une vie en poésie’ (A Life in Poetry) in September 2025, inviting the public to discover the extensive poetic work of Francine Caron, who has published more than 80 collections to date and Poésie" in September 2025, offering the public the opportunity to grasp the breadth of Francine Caron's poetic work, with more than 80 collections published to date, which has been regularly accompanied by the artistic work of painters and engravers, supported by daring publishers. The exhibition will open with a biography of the artist, helping visitors to understand the creative drive of the poet. You will find numerous published and unpublished poems read aloud by the Friends of La Gède, as well as photos, reviews, testimonials and artistic works by painters and engravers.
