The Étonnantes ephemeral boutique is back for a 3rd season, showcasing the work of 60 designers from the West of France, as well as becoming a café-workshop! Concerts and workshops are scheduled throughout the season!
Laura Le Floch Petits désastres will be leading a ceramics workshop.

Discover the world of ceramic grigris
A workshop open to everyone, no pre-requisites necessary.
Introduction to stoneware
Presentation of the specific features of this robust, natural clay, ideal for creating long-lasting objects. We'll also look at the key stages of drying and the high-temperature firings (up to 1280°C) required for vitrification.
Free modelling
You'll give shape to your own little grigris: figurative, abstract, symbolic... Anything's possible!
We'll guide you through the process and provide you with the appropriate tools.
Decorating with engobes
Before the first firing, you can personalise your pieces with coloured engobes. These pigments are applied to the raw clay like paint.
After the workshop, Laura will take care of both firings in her professional workshop
You can collect your grigri a few weeks later from the boutique.
