Set between the ocean and the salt marshes, Batz is 7 km from La Baule, in the Peninsula of Guérande, 3 h by train (TGV) from Paris.
Le centre Marceau is in an amazing location on the very edge of a fine sandy beach Where the rocks are easily accessible for young children to gather shellfish. An impressive backdrop is provided by the fortified town of Guérande, the authentic fishing port of Le Croisic and the vastness of the wetlands of La Grande Brière…
The sailing school ‘L’école de voile Valentin’ is situated on the beach adjacent to the centre.
The centre was built in a private park of 3 ha and has games, courts/pitches for sports, and a table tennis table…
The accommodation has been totally refurbished and has a capacity to sleep 120. The bedrooms have from 3-6 beds, each room has complete private bathroom and toilet facilities. There are also many activities rooms and classrooms in the manor, a reading room, a restaurant and an infirmary.
