La Govelle Beach
Presentation
This sandy beach, between the rocks of the Wild coast and near from Le Pouliguen, is perfect to practice slinding sports. The Surf and Rescue School proposes lessons for beginners' and improvers' surfing courses.
At low tide, this is the paradise for fishing on foot !
Lifeguards watch the beach during july and august.
The quality of the water is judged excellent and regular since few years.
The Govelle beach is supervised from July 1st to August 31st from 1.30 pm to 7 pm by the SNSM lifeguards.
Animals, even on a leash, are not allowed on La Govelle beach from June 15th to October 15th. It is also prohibited for large groups.
It is forbidden to smoke and light beach fires on the territory of La Govelle beach.
From the beach you can join the walking trail "Les Granits de Batz" (13km).
