The festival "Les Nuits Salines" of Batz sur Mer is, above all, moments of great conviviality that allow residents of the country of salt workers and people, passing through the town or region, to meet, to share their cultures and to make the party together! ... Nuits Salines is three days and three nights of festival around salt, the white gold of our peninsula.
For the duration of the "Nights", a "village" is installed on the place of Mulberry, where everyone can come to eat pancakes, grilled mussels-chips or sandwiches, accompanied by a soda, cider, beer, blonde or brunette, while listening to the music of the bands that occur on the village stage.
Only one currency is valid to pay for these goods: the sachets of salt found at the checkouts at the entrance of the village. In addition to concerts, an introduction to fishing on foot, walks in salt marshes, horse-drawn carriages, a show for children and a local market complete this rich festive program.
