Presentation

Ben LECHAPUS and his "Orchestre Plastique

SOUND CREATION AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC

LECHAPUS makes electronic music with plastic waste, Chinese noodle blisters and American soda caps. The thirty-year-old, a bit crazy, addicted to the waste disposal site in his village in the Nantes vineyards, had an idea a year and a half ago: to create a plastic orchestra. Objective: "To talk about plastic waste in a poetic, festive way without being moralistic. Waste management is a contemporary issue.

He fine-tuned his show during a residency at the VIP in Saint-Nazaire. With this creation for all audiences, LECHAPUS offers a whimsical universe between "boom boom" song and electro-household poetry. The lyrics, sung and written in French, evoke a world of end of the world and Mad Max-like resourcefulness. LECHAPUS sings festive songs about the end of the world, an original, modern and danceable way of exorcising our plastic waste in music!

ACOUSTIC TRANSFORMERS

THE REKUPERTOU OF THE BRASS BAND!

There are five of them, and they are determined to transform any song that suits them, even if it means making their repertoire as eclectic as possible and carrying the audience away in a whirlwind of music, from the Caribbean to Funk, via Waltz and Congolese Rumba. Pipes, cans, old dishes... straight out of the garbage, shaped and converted into melodic instruments or percussion, the TRANSFORMATEURS ACOUSTIQUES produce the unheard-of sounds of a festive and swaying music.

The stroll that these musicians give us to see and hear is the improbable and surprising result of an original recycling that will cheerfully enliven this closing day. Their junk instruments are not afraid of any melody or bass line, and do not tremble in front of the most syncopated rhythms and guitar riffs. They are even ready to sing if they have to!
